2019
Somehow, it just dawned on me that all of 2019 is missing from this blog.
Not the bad. From Jesse's grandmother's illness to my month in Washington at my father's side as we coped with losing my stepmom. From my McClanahan aunt's diagnosis of an easily beatable cancer to her unexpected death from blood clots (standard complication for 20% of the populace when given blood thinners, but we were not told this prior.) From my foster sister's battle with cancer to Jesse's Walker aunt's knee surgery.
Not the good. Times with friends, adventures with the children, having all three of the moms here again for Christmas. Mama Sheila spending nearly a month here.
That's a lot of ground to cover. I'll come back to this post with random pics, just as a place to park them. Of Sam, conscious enough to chuckle at my efforts to brush her dogs. Of Aunt Joyce, and Mom and C.Jaye's good bye to her. Of Heidi and myself, going bald together.
Cancer sucks. Family is awesome. I'm glad 2019 is over. Hallelujah.
