Prep!
It is one week into December. The tree is up. A bake-a-thon is being readied. Meal prep is happening every few days to make it easier to get dinner on the table by 4p when we only get home half an hour prior.
This, combined with the aftermath of the last couple of meltdowns I’ve been battered by, has me singing Lizzo constantly and gearing up for a full blown fitness challenge. Making the time is likely the challenge portion for me, as clean eating, lots of water intake and love of workouts is already there.
Ideally, I’d like to get an hour of high intensity cardio and an hour of strength training in daily, 6 days a week, along with a yoga session of 30 minutes or more. I’d like to make this a 30 day challenge to start, and then extend for another 60 days. Keep a journal of workouts, gains, and progress photos.
First, though, there’s a matter of getting through the next three weeks or so of guests, holiday making and the inevitable fusses that come with stimulation overload.
