Goat cheese, goat milk soaps and lotions, can be obtained from Goat Rope Farm in Milton.
Fresh eggs and herbs are available from Appalachian Forest Herbs.

There's a CSA in Hurricane but none closer. However, Huntington does have the Market Fresh project -- essentially, a Farmer's Market with extended hours. Ebenezer Medical Outreach is offering fresh, locally grown goodness on Thursdays, 11-7, at Huntington's Kitchen (across from Pullman Square, next to the Culinary Institute;) and on Fridays at EMO from 9-5.

White Oak Ridge Farm in Philipi (whiteoakridgefarm@yahoo.com, 304-614-8140) apparently raises animals for meat.

More exciting to me: info on both Beekman1802 (a lovely WV farm) and on Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co., a seed company, farm, working pioneer village and more located not far from my Mommy. I see a road trip coming up...
