"I'd Hit It"
For those of you mystified when you hear Jesse or I state "I'd contract a venereal disease from it and come back for more!", it seems you've missed out on a funny news item from a couple of years ago. Just to set the record straight--(I mean, come on, we're weird enough on our own)--McDonald's, in their marketing genius, decided to use slang meaning roughly "I'd have sex with that butt" in an online banner ad.
Of course, the demographic this ad was aimed at, as well as a large portion of the world's populace with internet access, became wary of McDonald's actual intent once this ad rolled...I would bet the minds that approved this have since moved on to other positions, possibly with other companies, due to making the Mooby-type corporation a laughingstock.
Among the helpful suggestions made to McDonald's, (some of which can be found at http://web.mit.edu/cms/bcc/2005/02/mcdonalds-culture-shock.html ,) are:
"I'd hop on that like it was prom night!"
"I'd get my freak on with it!"
"I'd form the beast with two backs with that!" and my personal favourite:
"I'd get syphilis from that and come back for more!"

I would love to get our little girls together for a play date. Ava does not get much socialization and being social is important for development. Give me a call when you get a chance.

Stacy, I'm sorry I missed this comment until today! I've sent you an e-mail. I'd *love* to arrange a play date. Aria enjoys the company of other children, and Caoimhe could use some side-by-side time with a child who won't take everything from her.
ReplyDeleteIf you're up for it, how about a 'mom date' some time next month, as well? We can get a mani and pedi at El Haijj sans babies, and come back to our little miracles with equilibrium restored.
