Heidi and little Mark, preggers Autumn and Aria

In June of 2008, Jesse and I took Aria to California to take part in Grandma Mums' 80th birthday. We visited my foster sister, Heidi, while there, and then I pulled the truly insane trick of flying on to Washington for a week with grandparents Katie and Sam--(insane because I was very pregnant, lugging around a gargantuan Eddie Bauer convertible carseat, toddler, luggage, carry-ons, and without any assistance--Jesse had to head home and back to work.) Here's a pic of my sister and nephew next to Aria, with me impersonating a butterball. Around this time, it was getting easier to roll than to walk. As you can see, the children thought the toys were far more interesting than our laps.
